Student Health and Wellbeing

Student Health & Wellbeing with VERTO Training

At VERTO, we understand that true success in training and employment is supported by overall wellbeing. That’s why we take a holistic approach to supporting our students—not just academically, but personally.

Our programs are designed to identify and respond to the individual health and wellbeing needs of each student. From access to counselling services and wellbeing check-ins, to peer support groups, relaxation spaces in our classrooms, and links to trusted community organisations like Lifeline and Black Dog Institute, we provide practical and meaningful support every step of the way.

Whether you're studying face-to-face or online, VERTO is here to ensure you feel supported, connected, and ready to thrive.

Student Support

VERTO is committed to fostering a culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment where all students feel valued and are free from discrimination or harassment. We actively support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, students from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, and LGBTQIA+ and gender‑diverse students. Our educational spaces are designed to reflect the rich diversity of our communities, promoting equity, understanding, and belonging for all.

At VERTO, our dedicated Student Support Team works alongside students throughout their training journey to ensure they feel confident, connected, and capable. Whether students are navigating course challenges, balancing life commitments, or need someone to check in with, our team are here to support.

We provide personalised assistance through regular wellbeing check‑ins, drop‑in sessions, study skills support, and access to a broad range of resources and referral services. Our student support coordinators work closely with our with trainers to ensure every student is supported.
